Grenjengan Waterfall Pacet Mojokerto
August 8th 2016 I together with my friend visited this tourism object. I actually didn’t have a plan to go to this object because my first plan was driving my friend to look for a job vacancy in my town surroundings. Firstly I went to a school in Jombang at 11 am, and on the way I felt the weather was very feverish. I wanted to take a rest for a while, but I decided to continue because I thought the distance is not so far. After arriving, we asked to a security there where BKK room is, is a room that service people who want to look for a job. Secondly we went to Mojokerto exactly Mojosari subdistrict at 11.30 am, I felt the weather was more feverish. Additionally big trucks also passed this subdistrict, and influenced dusts fly around the street. Oh my god suddenly I wanted to go home because I didn’t feel comfortable with the weather, but on the way I saw a direction for going to Pacet. I remembered a waterfall that I haven’t visited there and I imagined fresh weather that I would feel. Finally after my friend solved his problem, at 01.00 pm we decided to visit a waterfall in Pacet.

The road to the waterfall
It was different from the road that we usually pass when we visit pacet. In this case, we passed Mojosari first then Pungging before we went in the direction of Pacet. from this road we saw the beautiful view around us, and Penanggungan mount in the left side of our eyes that looked very near from us. We felt the weather was fresher and cooler. After we entered Pacet subdistrict in the T-junction we turned left then turned right in the cross road. We enjoyed the trip because we thought the view was more beautiful. The road continually climbed here, and we could see Anjasmoro mount that looked green and beautifull. It was about an hour of our trip. Finally at 02.00 pm we arrived in our destination, exactly in the gate of “Kawasan Pariwisata Air Panas Padusan”.

From here, the security asked us where we would go. We answered that we would go to a waterfall then he asked again which waterfall is. He told us there are two waterfalls here the first one is Coban Canggu and the second one is Grenjengan Waterfall. We chose the second one because we thought that it was more beautifull. Before entering the area, we had to buy a ticket Rp. 10.000 a person. In the T-Junction, because we would go to Grenjengan Waterfall, we turned right and and passed the road that slightly climbed. After we entered Wana Wisata Padusan Area and gave the tickets to the officials, we parked our motor cycle and paid Rp. 5000 a motor cycle. From the parking area we had to continue our trip to the waterfall by foot, It was about 300 meters. The road was upward therefore we were very carefull. Sometimes we took rest and ate some food in the huts and rest areas built by the the societies surroundings where they usually sell. We could feel fresh air here and saw pinus trees around us. In the post area we bought a ticket again Rp. 7500 in weekend and Rp. 6000 in weekday. It was about 200 meters from rest area to reach the waterfall. We heard the sound of water flowing then we walked soon. Yes, finally we arrived, we saw a waterfall that the height is about 30 meters in front of our eyes. We took some photos here and felt the water. It was very cold. At a quarter past three, we decided to go home because the tourism area closed at four o’clock pm.
